About

Brad Bealmear (b. 1953) is an American abstractionist. He lives in Santa Fe, NM. His work is driven by the effects of people on our planet. In July 2019 he donated the 300-piece series of small works on paper “Studies for a New Atmosphere” to 231 art museums worldwide, including at least one in each US state. (By October 28 pieces had been refused and returned, for various reasons.)

Previously Bealmear worked for decades as an advertising photographer, including 22 years in NYC where he included Tiffany & Co. and other luxury brands as his clients.

Bealmear’s paintings have been seen in the shows “Axle Indoors at Peters Projects” (2015, Santa Fe) and “Outrage” (City of Mud Gallery, 2018, Santa Fe). In November 2019 he will have a solo show at FOMA Santa Fe. His work is in private collections worldwide.
